This is actually the main motivation for developing Whispermodel. Not just the low- and high-end performance, but the quick, lively feeling that actually makes it fun to kite in these conditions. No more hard edging in gusts to push the kite to the edge of the window, or waiting for a response when pulling the bar – everything is instantaneous and effortless, with a kite that generates apparent wind so smoothly that you’ll understand the name as soon as you fly it.

Get going in the lightest breeze
As soon as WHISPERMODEL stays in the sky, which is around 4-6 knots, you’re able to ride. We’d say 4-6 knots require a foilboard, and 6+ knots will get you going on a big twintip. With equally impressive relaunch capabilities, both advanced riders and students are guaranteed to spend more time on the water than ever before!

High-end performance
Just as important, is the exceptional high-end performance you get out of these big kites, meaning you don’t have to go back and switch kites when the wind picks up. The amount of de-power you get on the bar-throw, and naturally forward-flying characteristics makes it effortless to hold your edge in stronger winds and shoot into vertical jumps like never before. Thanks to its Leading Edge shape, WHISPERMODEL is easy to relaunch by pulling one steering line. In extremely light conditions, it also excels in backward flying relaunches by pulling both steering lines.

WHISPERMODEL feels very light on your legs and arms. It doesn’t backstall, making it very easy to ride upwind even in light conditions, and the backlines give precise bar feedback so you always feel where the kite is, making it very intiutive like all Reedin kites.
