It’s hard to improve on a harness like the EXO, but we learned a lot from developing the Eclipse, and we’ve used that experience to redesign our flagship harness. We’ve applied adaptive shell technology to the EXO to provide better support, reduced weight, and increased durability. Thanks to a stiffer core, the EXO 2.0 supports your back perfectly. However, it allows for greater freedom of movement thanks to its different levels of stiffness, especially its flexible contour. The soft part of the EXO 2.0 is constructed from a “single foam”. The single foam doesn’t absorb water, so the harness remains light and comfortable when in use.

Key Features
Adaptive Shell: The adaptive shell’s rigidity ranges from firm in the center to softer at the edges. The rigid center belt prevents the harness from folding and compressing the body, while maintaining good lumbar support.
Unique Foam: The EXO 2.0 uses a unique thermoformed mold to create a one-piece foam support. It absorbs much less water and is much lighter than the multiple foams used in some harnesses.
Tuck Flap: By stiffening the connection between the harness and the buckle, it prevents the buckle from lifting.
Technologies
Adaptive Shell: The softer profile preserves intuitive mobility and adaptability. The result is a shell that is forgiving where flexibility is needed and firm where support is needed.
Single Foam: Comfort is key in any harness. This makes it extremely durable, as there are fewer parts to glue or sew together.
Down Hold System: Because there is nothing worse than a harness riding up during a session, we developed the Down Hold System, an asymmetric attachment that distributes forces downwards. Fixed in its original position, the hook does not ride up.
Tuck Flap: Tuck flaps further aid the Down Hold System by placing flaps at the ends of the spread bar and inserting into the harness. Once tightened, the straps are compressed and locked. By stiffening the connection between the harness and the buckle, they prevent it from riding up.
Spreader Bar System: We wanted to avoid the uncomfortable lateral contraction of the harness across the chest, so we tailor our spreader bar to the size of the harness. A well-fitting spreader will pull along both sides of the harness, while a spreader that is too small will pull at a sharp angle, putting pressure on the rider and causing uncomfortable pain.
