Aurelio Verdi has completely redesigned the AV-Boards Wave range, making the new Dynamo a totally new board that shares only its name with the previous generation. Developed to deliver the ideal balance between speed and turning performance in wave conditions, the new Dynamo takes this concept to the next level.

Its compact shape, combined with a fast progressive rocker, a slightly wider outline, and a completely revised bottom design, creates a board that feels more responsive and dynamic than ever.  About the Dynamo Wave

The Dynamo Wave range introduces six completely new shapes, each developed with a slightly wider outline to deliver greater versatility and improved all-round wave performance. While the overall scoop line remains unchanged, the bottom shape has been extensively refined, featuring a more pronounced V running from nose to tail and a subtle double concave extending from the tail to the mid-section. This updated hull design increases maneuverability, making the board even more responsive and easier to turn.

The rocker line has been fine-tuned with a slightly more progressive curve, providing faster acceleration and a looser, more lively feel on the wave. On the 70L and 78L models, additional tail kick further enhances maneuverability, especially in strong wind and demanding wave conditions.

The compact outline retains its signature pin nose and fish tail, together with the distinctive pronounced kink between the back foot position and the tail—an unmistakable design element of the Dynamo. To maximize turning performance, the footstrap positions have also been moved slightly further back compared to the previous generation.

The Dynamo Wave is equipped with five fin boxes, combining a US Box center fin with Slot Boxes for the side fins. This configuration allows riders to choose between quad and thruster setups, adapting the board to different conditions and personal riding styles. Whether you’re enjoying smaller, playful waves or charging powerful, challenging surf, the Dynamo can be tuned to deliver its best performance.
