Our inflatable SUP is made in Drop-Stitch. The drop stitch is a set of 2 or more layers of PVC joined by double Nylon strips welded with a Laser method.

The new FUSION technology revolutionizes the construction of inflatable SUPs since 2022.

Today this method is well tested and can be found in the largest and most well-known brands

There are different constructions with the Drop Stitch technique:

• SINGLE LAYER

Our sup is built with the DOUBLE LAYER FUSION + STRINGER method

The second layer of PVC is heat welded to the first layer without glue and the whole is put under tension. Between the two layers, the manufacturer inserts a unidirectional fiber visible on the structure.

Advantages: smooth and uniform finish, no more wrinkles or micro bubbles. No glue, 20% less weight and 40% more rigidity compared to a glued double layer structure

reduce the thickness of the PVC to save money. At Backloop, in contrast, we want to offer

our customer the best that can be found on the market in terms of quality of the final
