Durable progressive freeride

Incredibly smooth and fun to ride, the Ignition is the ultimate freeride twintip that will make anyone fall in love with kiteboarding.

Smooth Efficiency

The Ignition’s profile has been designed to reduce drag increasing lift and speed. Our innovative Parabolic Rail Shape (PRS) technology adds grip and upwind ability too, so even heavier riders will be able to plane easily in lighter winds.

Long lasting durability

The ABS rail material offers added impact resistance guaranteeing lasting performance for you and your board. Built for durability, the strong UV-resistant top sheet will protect the construction, allowing you to focus on your progression.

Optimum flex for control

Constructed using a carbon-reinforced 3D-shaped lightweight Paulownia wood core, the Ignition achieves optimum flex for increased control even in heavy chop. Ridden with our AirGO pads (not included), turbulent water will feel like carving through butter.

New for V5

V5 has a completely new 3D top mould and the channel layout and depth have been revised for more grip and control when carving. The square tail outline is more rounded with bevels at the transition to the rails and thinner tips. The revised flex patterns and a thinner core also decrease the weight to give the board more flex. Constructed with new plant-based elements including a sustainably sourced paulownia wood core and new GreenPoxy bio-resin, the Ignition V5 now has greater durability for longevity.

We designed the Ignition’s bottom with a single concave featuring channels on the tips, and rail steps to ensure early planing while still providing plenty of grip.

FLY 3D WOOD CORE: This lightweight wood core is the perfect foundation for a great board. It’s CNC milled on the top and bottom to ensure the best flex patterns possible to meet riding demands.

HEAVY DUTY INSERTS: We’ll admit it, we copied these inserts from the snowboarding industry. Inserts don’t get stronger than this.

ULTRA DURABLE BOTTOM SHEET: Abrasion resistant base for more durability.

BIAX LAMINATE: Using high-quality fibres in our biax laminate assists the flex pattern resulting in amazing pop. The balanced flex distribution is achieved from tip to tip to give unmatched durability.

CARBON REINFORCEMENTS: To achieve the optimal balance between comfort and performance, we use a strip of 50 mm carbon to reinforce the areas of high stress. This construction gives better linear and rebound flex.

PRS RAILS: Our innovative Parabolic Rail Shape highly enhances the grip as well as the upwind performance of your board. Furthermore, it redirects spray away from the rider for clear vision in any situation.
